(Just someone's opinion)
If there was ever a human epitome of the proverb "work hard, party harder," it's this boisterous boy from Panchkula who unabashedly strolled into the world a while back. Grabbing the MUNing circuit by its scruff and mesmerizing fellow Delegates and Executive Board members alike with his outstanding research, impeccable speeches, and flawless arguments, he became a legend amongst MUNners across the nation.
But what truly sets him apart? Even with over ninety conferences under his belt, he remains perhaps one of the very rare breeds who thrives on participation.
His quenching for knowledge and achievements, however, didn't stop within the peripheries of Model United Nations. He proved himself to be a phenomenal mooter with stellar performances at various prestigious national and international moots, including the revered Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition.
The oversized tees, jeans, and Crocs might have been replaced with something a touch more professional, but the intellectual fire within burns brighter than ever. Forget the academic beard – Prateek's knowledge of international law and global affairs remains boundless. And while Sagar Bhai's chai might be a cherished memory, insightful conversations with him are still a guarantee.
Prateek's leadership style remains the same, though the focus has shifted from guiding juniors to empowering colleagues. His infectious smile and enthusiasm continue to brighten even the dreariest days. Just when you think you might be intimidated by his accomplishments, here he comes with those trademark Mago strides, ready to disarm you with his genuine humility.
Prateek's post-college journey wasn't a straight path. After dedicating four years to the coveted civil services exam, a different calling emerged. A year spent as a legal researcher at the High Court provided invaluable experience, but ultimately, the legal system wasn't the perfect fit. Now, nearly three years into his journey in political strategy, Prateek has found his true calling at the intersection of politics, data, and people. His work today goes far beyond advising campaigns or drafting strategy decks. He’s on a mission to democratise political participation in India by building the country’s first political intelligence tool, a platform designed to make politics more accessible, informed, and data-driven.
Whether it’s working with political parties across states, decoding voting behaviour, or empowering citizens through insights, Prateek continues to approach every challenge with the same blend of rigour and empathy that defined his earliest days on the MUN floor. His leadership style still reflects what it always has. inclusive, curious, and impact-driven. Only now, the questions are bigger, and so is the vision.
So, don’t be fooled by the past appearances or old Crocs references. This is someone building something much bigger than a résumé. He’s building tools, teams, and a new way of thinking about Indian democracy.
